What we collect

Account details: your mobile number (you sign in with a code sent to it on WhatsApp), your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google.

Birth details you enter for yourself or others: name, date, time and place of birth, and the charts calculated from them.

Your questions and the answers you receive, purchase and payment records (we never see your card or UPI details; Razorpay processes payments), and basic usage information such as pages visited, device type and the campaign that brought you to us.

Why we use it

To calculate charts, answer your questions, provide consultations, process payments and issue invoices, keep the service secure, and understand which features and campaigns work.

To generate answers, your question and the relevant chart details are sent to an AI provider (such as Anthropic, OpenAI or Google) under contracts that do not allow them to use it to train their models. Your email address is not sent to them.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help run Vedini — hosting, email delivery, WhatsApp messaging (Interakt, on Meta’s WhatsApp), payments (Razorpay), video calls and AI processing — and with an astrologer you book, who sees the chart and a summary needed for your session. We never sell your data.

Messages we send

On WhatsApp and by email we send your sign-in codes and messages about your own account: receipts and invoices, reports when they are ready, consultation bookings and reminders, credits added, and at most one reminder before a welcome offer ends. We do not send promotional broadcasts without asking you first.

To stop WhatsApp or email messages other than sign-in codes, write to admin@academyofvedicvidya.com.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. Invoices and payment records are kept as long as tax law requires. When you delete your account, other personal data is deleted or anonymised within 30 days.

Your rights

You can see and correct your birth details, delete profiles at any time, and ask us for a copy of your data or to delete your account by writing to admin@academyofvedicvidya.com. You can withdraw consent at any time; some features then stop working.

Grievances: write to admin@academyofvedicvidya.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language, and a first-party cookie to measure visits and campaigns. If advertising tags are enabled, Meta or Google may set their own cookies.
