Raj Yog Activation
A Mars-and-Saturn fortress in the home house, with Mercury still waiting to speak

A letter for you
Dear Ananya, three of the heaviest planets in your chart have settled into one house, the fourth: Mars exalted, Saturn in its own sign, and Venus, your lagna lord, beside them. That is a great deal of force gathered under one roof, and it explains why you build slowly, privately, and then suddenly seem to carry authority. One planet is not keeping pace. Mercury sits close to the Sun in the fifth house, combust, and it is the voice that carries the whole arrangement outward.
You are now in the long Venus season, in its opening chapter, Venus within Venus: a time for laying foundations, taste and relationships before the yogas are called to work. This report answers which planets hold your thirteen yogas, how strong each is, what strengthens the weak one, and when the yogas open most fully.
Your answer
Your chart forms 13 yogas of power and wealth, led by Raj Yoga; they come alive most strongly around 2038.

Your mantra and practices
Budh (Mercury)
ॐ ब्रां ब्रीं ब्रौं सः बुधाय नमः
Oṃ Brāṃ Brīṃ Brauṃ Saḥ Budhāya Namaḥ
Om, then the seed sounds of Budh, which carry its power and have no literal meaning: I bow to Budha (Mercury).
Why this, for you
Your practice is the Budh beej mantra, traditionally held to strengthen Mercury. Mercury joins your Adhi Yoga and the Dhana Yoga with the Sun, yet it sits combust in the fifth house and is the weakest planet that holds a yoga. Forty days from 21 October 2026 prepare it before your first window; a weekly Wednesday mala carries it through that window, and a second forty days in May 2030 readies your second.
Tied to your dates
- Begin on 21 October 2026: the forty days end on 29 November 2026, before your first window opens in November 2027.
- After the forty days, keep one mala every Wednesday until November 2028, when this window closes.
- Begin a second forty days in May 2030, before your next window opens in July 2030.

Chapter 1The planets that hold your yogas
Four planets carry you, two need your help
Mars, Saturn, Venus and the Moon form your strongest yogas. The Sun and Mercury are only moderate, and Mercury is the planet that most needs your support.
Your chart does not hang on one planet. It hangs on a gathering in the 4th house, where Mars is exalted, Saturn sits in its own sign and Venus, your lagna lord, stands beside them. That meeting forms Raj Yoga and Dhana Yoga, and it gives you two Mahapurusha yogas: Ruchaka through Mars and Shasha through Saturn. Mars and Saturn are very strong, and Saturn, ruling the 4th and 5th, works as a yogakaraka. Venus is strong.
The Moon, in its own sign in the 10th, is very strong too. It looks across at Mars and Saturn, adding Chandra-Mangala Yoga and more Raj Yogas, and Mangal Dosha is cancelled because Mars is exalted. In daily life this reads as nerve, discipline and a public standing that builds slowly and holds.
The weak links are Mercury and the Sun, side by side in Aquarius in the 5th. They form a Dhana Yoga, and Mercury joins Venus in Adhi Yoga, but the Sun is in an enemy's sign and Mercury is combust. Both are moderate. You may have the right idea and lose it in the telling.
Raj Yoga× 5
- Mars · Saturn · Mars (lord of the 7th) and Saturn (lord of the 5th) are together in one sign in the 4th house.
- Mars · Venus · Mars (lord of the 7th) and Venus (lord of the 1st) are together in one sign in the 4th house.
- Moon · Saturn · Moon (lord of the 10th) and Saturn (lord of the 5th) are aspecting each other.
- Saturn · Venus · Saturn (lord of the 4th and 5th) and Venus (lord of the 1st) are together in one sign in the 4th house.
- Moon · Venus · Moon (lord of the 10th) and Venus (lord of the 1st) are aspecting each other.
Rise in status, authority and recognition, especially in the periods of these planets.
Ruchaka Yoga
- Mars · Mars is in its own or exalted sign in the 4th house, a kendra.
Courage, leadership and command; success in competitive and technical fields.
Dhana Yoga× 3
- Mars · Saturn · Mars (lord of the 2nd) and Saturn (lord of the 5th) are together in one sign in the 4th house.
- Mars · Venus · Venus (lord of the 1st) and Mars (lord of the 2nd) are together in one sign in the 4th house.
- Mercury · Sun · Sun (lord of the 11th) and Mercury (lord of the 9th) are together in one sign in the 5th house.
Wealth that accumulates: income, savings and assets grow in the periods of these planets.
Chandra-Mangala Yoga
- Mars · Moon · The Moon and Mars are aspecting each other.
Enterprise with money: earning through initiative, trade and bold decisions.
Shasha Yoga
- Saturn · Saturn is in its own or exalted sign in the 4th house, a kendra.
Discipline and authority over many; rise through patience, service and organisation.
Yogakaraka Saturn
- Saturn · Saturn rules both the 4th and 5th houses, a kendra and a trikona, and sits in the 4th.
A single planet that works as a Raj Yoga on its own; its periods lift the whole life.
Adhi Yoga
- Mercury · Venus · Mercury and Venus are in the 6th, 7th or 8th from the Moon.
Leadership and a comfortable, respected life; rise to positions of trust.
Mars, Saturn, Venus and the Moon already do the heavy lifting; the yogas wait on Mercury and the Sun to catch up.
What it means for you
Mars, Saturn, the Moon and Venus do not need rescuing; they need steady use. Commit to one demanding field instead of scattering your force, let Saturn's slow method set your pace, and keep home and partnership settled so Venus can pay out.
Mercury is where your effort goes. Your practice is the beej mantra "Om Braam Breem Braum Sah Budhaya Namah", 108 times on a tulsi mala each morning after sunrise, for 40 days, beginning on a Wednesday in October 2026. It is traditionally held to strengthen Budh. Emerald is the stone recommended for Mercury in this chart, and Ruby, the Sun's stone, is not advised. Write your important ideas down before you speak them, and keep agreements in writing. Meet the Sun's weakness with patience: avoid power struggles with authority and let your results speak.
Chapter 2Strengthening them
Strong engines, a scorched messenger
Strengthen Mercury first, with its mantra, Wednesdays and an Emerald. Support the Sun with mantra and charity only, never Ruby. Mars, Saturn and the Moon are already strong and need no repair.

Your yogas rest on a very strong back line and two thinner players at the front. Mars is exalted and Saturn sits in its own sign, both in the 4th house. The Moon is in its own sign in the 10th. These three need no rescue. The thin spot is the Sun and Mercury, shut together in the 5th house, the Sun in an enemy's sign and Mercury combust. Mercury rules your 9th and 12th and carries Adhi Yoga and a Dhana Yoga. When it is scorched, results tend to arrive late: contracts that stall, ideas that never get priced, advice that reaches you a week too slow.
The Sun's remedy is its mantra, "Om Hraam Hreem Hraum Sah Suryaya Namah", on Sundays, 108 times on red sandalwood for 40 days, with wheat, jaggery and copper given on Sundays. Its stone, Ruby, is not advised for you, and neither is Yellow Sapphire. Mercury's stone, Emerald, is recommended: set in gold, worn on the little finger, with green moong and green cloth given on Wednesdays. Red Coral, Blue Sapphire and Pearl are safe for this chart, but Mars, Saturn and the Moon are already strong, so their mantras are a courtesy, not a repair.
What to do
Your practice is the Mercury mantra, "Om Braam Breem Braum Sah Budhaya Namah", 108 times on one tulsi mala, in the morning after sunrise, for forty days. Begin on the Wednesday of 21 October 2026 and finish on 29 November 2026. This is traditionally held to strengthen Mercury, and it lets the yogas give their full result. Keep one mala every Wednesday through your first window, and begin a second forty days in May 2030, before your second window opens. Give green moong and green cloth on Wednesdays.
Your supporting practice is Ketu, which carries your partial Pitra Dosha: "Om Straam Streem Straum Sah Ketave Namah", 108 times on a rudraksha mala, on a Tuesday morning after sunrise, for forty days. Give seven grains, a blanket and food for dogs on Tuesdays. Do the Mercury forty days first, then Ketu, and keep the count steady rather than long. Regularity is what the tradition rewards.
Chapter 3When to act
Three doors, and the slowest opens widest
Your yogas come alive in three windows: November 2027 to November 2028, July 2030 to September 2031, and May 2037 to July 2040, with the peak around 2038.
- Good window
Your first window · Nov 2027 – Nov 2028 · Venus/Sun · ages 35–36
Yogas at work: Raj Yoga, Dhana Yoga, Adhi Yoga
- Best window
Your second window · Jul 2030 – Sept 2031 · Venus/Mars · ages 38–39
Yogas at work: Raj Yoga, Ruchaka Yoga, Dhana Yoga
- Best window
Your third window · May 2037 – Jul 2040 · Venus/Saturn · ages 45–48
Yogas at work: Raj Yoga, Dhana Yoga, Shasha Yoga
Your yogas are lit now, but not yet at full voice. Venus/Venus, running to November 2027, keeps Raj Yoga, Dhana Yoga and Adhi Yoga faintly burning. Your first window, Venus/Sun from November 2027 to November 2028 (ages 35 to 36), is a good one, moderate in strength. Recognition from seniors and gains through your network arrive steadily, not suddenly. It slips through ego clashes with authority and careless paperwork, because your Sun is only moderate and Mercury sits combust beside it.
Your second window, Venus/Mars from July 2030 to September 2031 (ages 38 to 39), is the best kind, strong. Mars is exalted in your 4th house and gives Ruchaka Yoga. With the Moon facing it, Chandra-Mangala Yoga wakes too. Expect quick decisions, earning through nerve and initiative, and matters of home and property moving. It slips through haste and quarrels. Your Mangal Dosha is cancelled, so partnership is not the risk here; impatience is.
Your third window, Venus/Saturn from May 2037 to July 2040 (ages 45 to 48), is also best and strong, and the yogas peak around 2038. Shasha Yoga and Yogakaraka Saturn make it slow and durable, with authority earned through organisation. Sade Sati runs through its first stretch until October 2038, so expect weight before ease. Shortcuts are what spoil it.

Using your windows
Your practice is Mercury's beej mantra, "Om Braam Breem Braum Sah Budhaya Namah", one mala of tulsi each morning after sunrise for forty days, from October 2026 to November 2026. The tradition holds it strengthens Mercury, the weakest planet of your yogas. Then keep one mala every Wednesday until November 2028, and begin a second forty days in May 2030, before your second window opens.
Through 2027, start the role, course or venture you want seen. In your first window, push for the title and the terms, and complete every agreement in writing before Venus/Moon opens in November 2028. Use that bridge, to July 2030, to build skill and reserves. In your second window, start the bold move in its first months, push leadership and home decisions, and settle them before September 2031. In your third, start one long structure, push it patiently through Sade Sati, and consolidate it by July 2040.

Questions to take further
What your chart raises that a written reading cannot settle on its own.
- How should I weigh my strong Moon in the tenth house against the fourth-house yogas when choosing between public work and building at home?
- How can I support the Sun's moderate strength in my Dhana Yoga with Mercury when its gemstone is not advised for me?
- How should I time a major commitment between the end of Venus/Mars in September 2031 and the Rahu years that follow?
- How will Sade Sati, from May 2032 to October 2038, sit alongside my strongest window in Venus/Saturn?
How this was read
- Your chart is calculated in the sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa, whole-sign houses and the mean lunar nodes, from the precise positions of the planets at your birth.
- Timing follows the Vimshottari dasha: the mahadasha and its sub-periods (antardashas), dated from the Moon’s nakshatra at birth.
- Yogas, doshas, planet strengths and the windows are worked out by the Academy’s rules, the same ones its astrologers use, and every statement in this report rests on a placement in your chart.
- Mantras come from the Academy’s mantra library, each in Devanagari with its transliteration and meaning; gemstones follow the classical rule of the lagna, 5th and 9th lords.
- Dates are given as months and years. A window marks when the chart supports a matter most clearly, not a guarantee of an event.
Words used in this report
- Lagna
- The sign rising at your birth: the first house, and the frame of the whole chart.
- House (bhava)
- One of the twelve areas of life, from the self (1st) to loss and release (12th).
- Yoga
- A combination of planets that classically gives a result, such as power (Raj Yoga) or wealth (Dhana Yoga).
- Dosha
- A classical affliction in the chart, often reduced or cancelled by other placements.
- Sade Sati
- Saturn’s seven and a half years over the Moon sign and its neighbours.
- Karaka
- The planet that signifies a matter: Venus for marriage, Jupiter for wealth and children.
- Combust
- A planet too close to the Sun, whose results come late or with effort.
- Exalted, debilitated
- A planet at its strongest sign, or its weakest.
- Beej mantra
- A planet’s seed mantra, chanted on a mala of 108 beads.
- Shukla paksha
- The waxing fortnight, from the new moon to the full moon: the time to begin.
- Manglik
- Mars in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th from the lagna, the Moon or Venus, unless the chart cancels it.
Your chart does not lack power; it lacks a clear voice for it. Mars exalted, Saturn in its own sign and Venus in the fourth hold the Raj and Dhana yogas firm, and the Moon in the tenth gives them a stage. Mercury is the one to feed; the Wednesday mala is how. Mangal Dosha is cancelled, Kaal Sarp is absent, and Pitra Dosha is only partial. Build in the first window, push in the second, complete in the third. Circle May 2037, when Venus/Saturn opens: arrive with the mantra kept, your foundations laid and your biggest work ready to finish.
