Raj Yog Activation
Mars, Saturn and Venus in one house, waiting for Mercury

A letter for you
Dear Ananya, you asked why your yogas are not giving full results yet. The answer is timing and one weak link, not a missing promise. Your main yoga is a very strong Raj Yoga, formed by Mars and Saturn together in your 4th house. It will bring real authority and recognition. Its sharpest companions, Ruchaka Yoga from exalted Mars and Shasha Yoga from Saturn in its own sign, switch on only in the sub-periods of those two planets, and neither has run since your Venus years began.
What holds the rest back is Mercury. It is combust beside the Sun in your 5th house, the weakest of the planets that build your yogas, so the wealth and Adhi Yoga it carries arrive thinner than they should.
Your first strong window opens in July 2030, at age 38, when Venus/Mars brings Raj Yoga, Ruchaka Yoga and Dhana Yoga into play together. That period is for taking command and building assets. If you read one page, read chapter 1.
With you on the road ahead,

Your answer
Your chart is built for real standing and lasting wealth, led by Raj Yoga; your strongest years come around 2038.

- What to do now
- Begin the Mercury practice on 11 November 2026 and finish the forty days by 20 December 2026.
- Use the months before November 2027 to prepare the work you want recognised when your first window opens.
- What to watch
- Combust Mercury can rush contracts, figures and messages; read every document twice before signing, and keep the Wednesday mala steady.

Your past, as your chart shows it
The turning points your chart dates in the years behind you, read the way an astrologer checks a chart against a life: see how many you recognise.
Jan 2017 – Jul 2018 · ages 24–26
An ending, and a new start
From January 2017 to July 2018 your chart closed the Mercury years and opened Ketu's. From October 2017 to July 2018 Jupiter and Saturn crossed your 5th house together. This was most likely a time of studies and exam results, or a creative beginning, with one chapter of life ending as another began. Ketu periods strip away what no longer fits, and this one changed what you were aiming for.
Jun 2022 – Jul 2023 · ages 30–31
A change of home
From June 2022 to July 2023 your chart ran Ketu/Saturn, and Saturn, the yogakaraka of your chart, rules your 4th and 5th houses. Your chart shows a change around home: a move, a new home or property, or a shift in the family home, sharpest from January to April 2023. Saturn's dhaiya added weight and delay, so the change most likely came through effort and paperwork, not ease.
Jan 2024 – Jul 2025 · ages 31–33
The Venus years begin
From January 2024 to July 2025 your chart handed over from Ketu to Venus, your lagna lord. From May 2024 to March 2025 Jupiter and Saturn again met over your 5th from the Moon. This was most likely a new chapter in which home, property or a creative beginning took centre stage. Something old closed as the twenty Venus years opened, and with them the yogas you hold now.
Your mantra and practices
Budh (Mercury)
ॐ ब्रां ब्रीं ब्रौं सः बुधाय नमः
Oṃ Brāṃ Brīṃ Brauṃ Saḥ Budhāya Namaḥ
Om, then the seed sounds of Budh, which carry its power and have no literal meaning: I bow to Budha (Mercury).
Why this, for you
Mercury rules your 9th house and sits combust beside the Sun in your 5th, the weakest of the planets that form your yogas. It carries your Adhi Yoga and the Sun-Mercury Dhana Yoga, so while it stays faint those results come through partly. Forty days of its mantra, then one mala every Wednesday, are traditionally held to strengthen Mercury before your first window in November 2027. A second forty days in May 2030 prepares your second window.
Tied to your dates
- Begin on 11 November 2026: the forty days end on 20 December 2026, before your first window opens in November 2027.
- After the forty days, keep one mala every Wednesday until November 2028, when this window closes.
- Begin a second forty days in May 2030, before your next window opens in July 2030.

Chapter 1Why are my yogas not giving full results?
A very strong Raj Yoga waiting for its turn
Your yogas are real and very strong; they are held back by timing, because their main planets have not yet had their turn, and by a weak Mercury.
Strength of your planets
From dignity, house, directional strength, combustion and retrogression.

Ananya, your main yoga is a Raj Yoga formed by Mars and Saturn sitting together in your fourth house, and it is very strong. Mars there is exalted and Saturn holds its own sign, so the same pair also forms Ruchaka and Shasha, two Mahapurusha yogas, both very strong, and a very strong Dhana Yoga. Your yogas are not missing. They are waiting. A Raj Yoga gives its full result in the periods of the planets that form it, and you are in Venus's own sub-period of the Venus mahadasha, which began in July 2024. Venus sits with Mars and Saturn and forms very strong Raj and Dhana Yogas of its own, so the yogas stay switched on now. Mars and Saturn have simply not yet had their own turn.
Mars wants command. It gives courage, leadership and success in competitive and technical work. Saturn wants structure. It gives authority over many through patience, service and organisation. Your Moon, lord of your career house and very strong in its own sign there, faces this group and turns it outward into visible status, while the Moon and Mars together form a very strong Chandra-Mangala Yoga for earning through initiative and bold decisions. In the tradition's terms this is the chart of someone who rises to authority over others, with wealth that settles into savings, property and assets rather than passing through. Your first window adds the Sun's own wealth yoga; your second window wakes Mars and Ruchaka Yoga; your third window wakes Saturn, Shasha Yoga and the whole set together.
The weak link is Mercury. It sits combust beside the Sun in your fifth house, moderate in strength, and it is the weakest of all your yoga planets. Mercury rules your house of fortune and forms your Adhi Yoga and a Dhana Yoga with the Sun, both moderate. A burnt Mercury tends to blur plans, contracts and the credit you receive for your ideas, so effort lands without its full return. The Sun, moderate in an enemy's sign, adds to this, and a partial Pitra Dosha from Ketu in your ninth house slows luck further. What helps is strengthening Mercury, which the next chapter takes up.
Your yogas are not missing. They are waiting for their own planets to take the stage, and for Mercury to stop holding back.
What it means for you
Each of your yoga planets asks something different of you. Mars rewards decisions taken early and owned fully: competitive, technical or leadership roles, where you act first and answer for the result. Saturn rewards the long plan, systems that keep running, people you organise and serve well; it does not reward shortcuts. Venus, your current period lord, asks you to build the base now: steady income, sound assets and relationships of trust that the coming windows can lift. Your Moon asks that your work be seen, so let your name stand on what you build rather than working out of sight.
Mercury needs the most care. Write your plans down, check every contract and figure twice, keep clean accounts, and make sure your ideas reach others in your own words before someone else presents them. Learning a precise skill, writing or analysis, feeds Mercury directly. Your practice is the Mercury beej mantra, "Om Braam Breem Braum Sah Budhaya Namah", one mala of tulsi each morning after sunrise for forty days from 11 November 2026 to 20 December 2026, traditionally held to strengthen Budh so the yogas it touches give their full result. For the Sun, take visible ownership of your work rather than deferring credit, and keep your dealings with authority clean and direct.
Chapter 2What will strengthen them?
Mercury is the key that turns your yogas
Strengthen Mercury first: its Wednesday mantra, green charity and an emerald. Add Ketu's Tuesday mantra in support, and leave ruby and yellow sapphire alone.

The planet your yogas wait on is Mercury. It sits in your 5th house with the Sun, burnt by its closeness to it, and its strength is only moderate. Everything else that builds your standing is already powerful. Mars is exalted, Saturn and the Moon sit in their own signs, and Venus, your ascendant lord, is strong. Those planets form your very strong Raj Yoga, and they need no propping up. Mercury is the weak link. It carries your Adhi Yoga and the Dhana Yoga it makes with the Sun, both moderate, and it rules your 9th house of fortune. While Mercury stays dim, the results reach you thinner than the chart promises.
Your practice is the Mercury beej mantra, "Om Braam Breem Braum Sah Budhaya Namah". Chant it 108 times on a tulsi mala each morning after sunrise, for forty days, beginning on Wednesday 11 November 2026 and ending on 20 December 2026. On Wednesdays, give green moong and green cloth. The emerald is the gem for this chart. Wear it set in gold on the little finger. The tradition holds that a fed Mercury sharpens judgement, speech, contracts and calculation. It also turns your 5th-house intelligence into income, and it lets the trust and position of Adhi Yoga come through in full.
Two cautions belong here. The Sun shares Mercury's house in an enemy's sign and is also only moderate, but its stone, ruby, is not advised for you, and neither is yellow sapphire. The Sun gains through the Mercury work, since the two sit together. The second caution is Ketu in your 9th house, which gives a partial Pitra Dosha. It tends to slow luck that should come easily. Ketu's mantra is the classical remedy for it.
What to do
Treat the forty days as fixed, not flexible. Chant in the same place and at the same hour each day, so that Mercury's steadiness is built into the act. If a day is broken, the tradition asks you to begin the count again. Once the forty days end in December 2026, keep one mala every Wednesday until your first window closes. Then begin a second forty days in May 2030, ahead of your second window. Wear the emerald from a Wednesday morning. Let the Wednesday charity of green moong and green cloth go to someone who needs it, given by your own hand.
On a Tuesday after your Mercury forty days are complete, begin Ketu's practice. Chant "Om Straam Streem Straum Sah Ketave Namah" 108 times on a rudraksha mala each morning after sunrise, for forty days. On Tuesdays, give seven grains, a blanket, or food for dogs. Ananya, give Mercury what it asks for in daily life as well. Keep your accounts current, read contracts in full, and write before you speak in any negotiation. A combust Mercury tends to lose to haste, so build in a pause before every signature. That habit carries the mantra's work into your decisions.
Chapter 3When should I act to make them work?
Three windows when your Raj Yoga switches on
Build quietly until November 2027, start your visible move from November 2027 to November 2028, push hardest from July 2030 to September 2031, and complete your biggest work from May 2037 to July 2040.
- Good window
Your first window · Nov 2027 – Nov 2028 · Venus/Sun · ages 35–36
Yogas at work: Raj Yoga, Dhana Yoga, Adhi Yoga
- Best window
Your second window · Jul 2030 – Sept 2031 · Venus/Mars · ages 38–39
Yogas at work: Raj Yoga, Ruchaka Yoga, Dhana Yoga
- Best window
Your third window · May 2037 – Jul 2040 · Venus/Saturn · ages 45–48
Yogas at work: Raj Yoga, Dhana Yoga, Shasha Yoga
Your timing runs on one long period: the Venus mahadasha, from July 2024 to July 2044, ages 32 to 52. Venus is your lagna lord and strong. It sits in your 4th house with exalted Mars and own-sign Saturn, the conjunction that forms your very strong Raj Yoga. So every sub-period of these twenty years touches your yogas; what changes is which partner planet holds the switch. Until November 2027 Venus runs its own sub-period, which lays foundations more than it brings harvest. Then three windows open. Your first window, Venus/Sun from November 2027 to November 2028, ages 35 to 36, is good and of moderate strength. Your second window, Venus/Mars from July 2030 to September 2031, ages 38 to 39, is a best window, strong. Your third window, Venus/Saturn from May 2037 to July 2040, ages 45 to 48, is also a best window, strong, and holds your strongest years around 2038.
The first window wakes the Dhana Yoga of the Sun and Mercury. Expect a first visible rise in profile, notice from people in authority and income that follows recognition. The second window puts Mars in charge, firing Ruchaka Yoga alongside the Raj and Dhana Yogas, with Chandra-Mangala Yoga also active. This brings command, a lead role, success in competitive or technical work and money earned through bold initiative, with property and fixed assets favoured. The third window hands the switch to Saturn, your yogakaraka, and activates Shasha Yoga. This is authority over many and standing that lasts, with wealth settling into assets on a scale that feels established rather than hoped for.
Each window has its catch. The Sun is only moderate in an enemy's sign, and Mercury beside it is combust, so the first window will slip if you wait to be noticed or let others carry your work forward. Exalted Mars can turn to haste in the second. Sade Sati runs from May 2032 to October 2038 and overlaps the opening of your third window, bringing heavier duties and a slower pace. Because Saturn is your yogakaraka in its own sign, that pressure is demanding but not damaging, and patience is what turns it into rank.

Using your windows
Your practice is the Mercury beej mantra "Om Braam Breem Braum Sah Budhaya Namah", one mala of tulsi each morning after sunrise from 11 November 2026 to 20 December 2026. After that, chant one mala every Wednesday until November 2028, and begin a second forty days in May 2030. Use the rest of the Venus sub-period, until November 2027, to finish your groundwork: the skill, the credential, the savings structure and the stable home base your 4th-house yogas stand on. Once your first window opens in November 2027, start the visible move. Ask for the title, put your name on the work and make your case to seniors directly. This chart rewards stepping forward in that year, not waiting.
In your second window, from July 2030 to September 2031, push: take the lead role, compete openly and commit to the asset or venture you have prepared. Put every agreement in writing so Mars's speed does not outrun the details. The Rahu sub-period that follows, from September 2031 to September 2034, suits consolidating what you won rather than chasing more. Your third window, from May 2037 to July 2040, is for completing: accept the senior responsibility and formalise what you have built. Keep a steady routine through the Sade Sati years, and take any real health concern to a qualified professional.

Your next five years
One line for each year from this one, read from your windows.
2026
Venus/Venus keeps your Raj Yogas warm; start the Mercury mantra in November.
Your lagna lord runs its own period, so status grows steadily rather than suddenly. Begin the forty days on 11 November 2026 and avoid signing hurried agreements.
2027
Finish groundwork by autumn; your first window opens in November 2027.
Keep the Wednesday mala through the year. As Venus/Sun begins, Raj Yoga, Dhana Yoga and Adhi Yoga gather; put forward your claim for a larger role then.
2028
Your first window, a good one, runs until November 2028; push for recognition.
The Sun-Mercury Dhana Yoga joins in, so income tied to your own skill rises. Avoid clashes with seniors over credit. From November 2028 Venus/Moon begins.
2029
Venus/Moon wakes Chandra-Mangala Yoga: earn through initiative, not waiting.
Your own-sign Moon in the 10th lifts your public standing. Trade, bold financial decisions and visible work pay; avoid scattering money across too many ventures at once.
2030
Your second window, a best window, opens in July 2030: take command.
Begin the second forty days of the Mercury mantra in May. From July, Ruchaka Yoga joins Raj and Dhana Yoga; lead, compete and build assets, but avoid rash confrontation.
What to do
The steps of this report, in order.
- Begin the Mercury beej mantra on Wednesday 11 November 2026, 108 times each morning after sunrise, and complete the forty days on 20 December 2026.
- Start the Ketu mantra on a Tuesday in January 2027 for its forty days, with seven grains, a blanket and food for dogs as charity, to settle your partial Pitra Dosha.
- Put forward your bid for a senior role or a larger mandate in November 2027, as your first window opens, and push it through to November 2028.
- Begin a second forty days of the Mercury mantra in May 2030, so it is complete as your second window opens in July 2030.
- Commit to your largest move in leadership or property between July 2030 and September 2031, and finish it before that window closes.

Questions to take further
What your chart raises that a written reading cannot settle on its own.
- How should I weigh wearing an Emerald against relying on the Mercury mantra alone, given that Mercury is combust?
- Should I use Venus/Moon, from November 2028 to July 2030, to consolidate what the first window gives, or to start something new under Chandra-Mangala Yoga?
- With four planets' strength packed into my 4th house, should my wealth rest on property and fixed assets more than on salary?
- How should I pace my ambitions through Sade Sati, from May 2032 to October 2038, when it overlaps the start of my third window?

How this was read
- Your chart is calculated in the sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa, whole-sign houses and the mean lunar nodes, from the precise positions of the planets at your birth.
- Timing follows the Vimshottari dasha: the mahadasha and its sub-periods (antardashas), dated from the Moon’s nakshatra at birth.
- Yogas, doshas, planet strengths and the windows are worked out by the Academy’s rules, the same ones its astrologers use, and every statement in this report rests on a placement in your chart.
- Mantras come from the Academy’s mantra library, each in Devanagari with its transliteration and meaning; gemstones follow the classical rule of the lagna, 5th and 9th lords.
- Dates are given as months and years. A window marks when the chart supports a matter most clearly, not a guarantee of an event.
Words used in this report
- Lagna
- The sign rising at your birth: the first house, and the frame of the whole chart.
- House (bhava)
- One of the twelve areas of life, from the self (1st) to loss and release (12th).
- Mahadasha
- A great planetary period of the Vimshottari dasha, from six to twenty years.
- Antardasha
- A sub-period inside a mahadasha, run by a second planet.
- Yoga
- A combination of planets that classically gives a result, such as power (Raj Yoga) or wealth (Dhana Yoga).
- Dosha
- A classical affliction in the chart, often reduced or cancelled by other placements.
- Sade Sati
- Saturn’s seven and a half years over the Moon sign and its neighbours.
- Dhaiya
- Saturn’s two and a half years in the 4th or 8th sign from the Moon.
- Karaka
- The planet that signifies a matter: Venus for marriage, Jupiter for wealth and children.
- Combust
- A planet too close to the Sun, whose results come late or with effort.
- Exalted, debilitated
- A planet at its strongest sign, or its weakest.
- Beej mantra
- A planet’s seed mantra, chanted on a mala of 108 beads.
- Shukla paksha
- The waxing fortnight, from the new moon to the full moon: the time to begin.
- Manglik
- Mars in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th from the lagna, the Moon or Venus, unless the chart cancels it.
Your chart is not short of promise, Ananya. Mars exalted, Saturn in its own sign and Venus, your lagna lord, sit together in your 4th house, and between them they form most of your Raj and Dhana Yogas. Mangal Dosha is cancelled by that exalted Mars, and Kaal Sarp is absent. What has kept the results partial is a combust Mercury and the order of the sub-periods, and both are now accounted for. The Mercury practice repairs the weak link; the windows supply the timing. Circle May 2037, when Venus/Saturn opens and Yogakaraka Saturn with Shasha Yoga comes fully into play, and be ready to take on authority over many.
